Just wanted to say thanks for the awesome hilltribe treks you organised for me
and my family over the past 2 years.
I loved the 2 treks I did with Chaya with
my husband Allan and then again with my friend Julie.
Recently my son and his partner (Nick and Sinead) did the 2 day trek with you and
from their travel updates, thoroughly enjoyed the experience.My daughter and her
partner (Katrina and Ant) also loved their trek earlier this year. In fact they
have recommended your trek as a must do for all their friends in London where they
are now living.I know of one of their friends going over to Thailand to do your
tour soon - Adam from London.
I am now living in Norway for the next 2 years and have recommended your trek to
some Norwegian friends who will visit Thailand at Xmas.

Dear Dtaw,
Hi there, this is Ian, i'm the American
college student traveled with your company this past
october with 7 other friends.
We were the one's traveling the world on a ship. I just wanted to write
and let you know how much I enjoyed the experience and
that I've done what I can to get your company's name
out there for future Semester at Sea travelers. I
don't think this semester's kids made it to thailand,
but i've already put out the word those that will be
in thailand for the fall of '05. I also wanted to
write to see how everything is holding up in your
homeland with regards to the Tsunami tragedy. I know
your inland, but i can only imagine the devastating
ripple effect that has taken place in thailand and in
southeast asia in general. i hope all is going well,
and if you get a chance, i'd love to hear back from
you sometime. take care, and say hi to the jungle for
me.

Hello Dtaw, Cathy, O, and Chaya,
We just got home from our trip to Thailand last night. What an amazing trip it
was and we must tell you the highlight of our entire amazing trip was our trek
with O, Chaya, and Nik. It was a magical little group we had traveling through
incredible landscapes, sites, sounds and experiences. Chaya is a knowledgeable,
friendly, guide who just happens to be a pretty damn good cook as well. O is a
genuine sweetheart and a great inspiration for all of us, particularly Sophie.
We also wish we could have met you but we understand. Besides, maybe this gives
us an excuse to come back someday?
We would highly recommend your company to our friends. Having a small group and
someone who speaks the native language (Chaya/Karen) made it so much better for
us. The bamboo rafting and the elephant ride were fun but the peak experiences
came from seeing the wonderful school, hanging out with our great group, and
learning all of the great little details about plants, people, animals, insects,
and the countryside. The people of Thailand are the most kind, generous, happy
people I have ever met. The world can learn a lot from them.
I hope companies like yours become the standard rather than the 'disneyland-like'
approach of some of the other so called "eco" tourism companies we saw in Chiang
Mai and throughout Thailand for that matter.

Dear Dtaw and Cathy,
Thank you so very much for a wonderful holiday. Dtaw, I hope you are feeling
better and I am sorry we did not get to see you before we left. Khun Batt was
great and we really appreciated his expertise regarding the Karen tribe.
I am copying our friends Liz and Szilard on this email because they are coming
to Thailand for holiday in January and would like to include Chiang Mai in
their plans. I suggested they work with you to organize their holiday.

Hi Dtaw
We had just the BEST time and have been emailing everyone to let them know what
a great trek we had. Have to say we were both tired and stiff the next day but
wouldn't have missed the 2 days at all.
Please pass on our thanks to Chaiya who did an awesome job. He was relaxed,
accomodating and entertaining as well as being a great cook, guitar player and
trouble shooter. Nothing was too much trouble for him and everything went so smoothly.
You have a very well run organisation there and we will certainly do our best
to get our friends and family to book with you when they come to Chiang Mai later
in the year.
