Yochit (Dtaw) Nampholsean received the very prestigious Tourist Guide Award 2000 from the Tourism Authority of Thailand. The award was presented by the Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, Korn Dabbaransi, on September 27, 2000 in Bangkok. Dtaw was one of only nine tour guides in all of Thailand to receive the award (Thailand has over 24,000 registered guides). |
