Third Eye Travel is owned and operated by Yochit Nampholsaen
(Dtaw) and Cathy DiSantis who met eight years ago while working and
volunteering at Asom Wongsanit, a community practicing engaged-Buddhism
in rural central Thailand.
In his university career, Dtaw was an environmental activist and led
high-school student summer camps for conservation awareness training.
Since then he has worked with organic farming and alternative education
projects in rural communities and led deep ecology/spiritual awareness
walks at Asom Wongsanit. Since starting 3rd Eye Travel in 1997, Dtaw
has led tours throughout Thailand and in Laos and Cambodia.
Cathy was an English Advisor/Instructor in the Humanities Faculty
of Chiang Mai University for 7 years and taught previously at Sundai
in Tokyo, Japan and the University of Houston in Houston, Texas.
